Compact know-how: BERU updates technical information for workshops and dealerships
Knowledge at a glance: New BERU spark plug, glow plug and sensor catalogues, current application lists and revised product CDs help professionals with customer service and portfolio management.
(Ludwigsburg, 08 may 2008) Whoever wants their vehicle workshop or dealership to succeed in today's competitive environment must provide top-level service. BERU supports its customers with excellent parts availability and comprehensive informational literature that the specialist for Ignition Technology, Diesel Cold-Start Technology, Electronics and Sensors in Ludwigsburg always keeps up-to-date.
For instance, the completely revised BERU CD-ROM (Version 1.2008) is now available for BERU’s partners. Images of products help with quick identification, a cross reference for parts from other manufacturers simplifies the search for corresponding BERU parts of OEM quality. BERU has also expanded the useful Technical Information TI 06 “Spark plugs for gas-powered engines”; the list of real-world workshop tips has also been extended. Additional material for attractive point-of-sale advertising rounds out the optimised offering.
The handy BERU spark and glow plug applications list as well as the BERU spark and glow plug catalogue have also been brought up-to-date and are now available in DIN A4 format. This indispensible reference work, now 400 pages long, lists spark plugs and glow plugs for about 7,500 applications in cars and light commercial vehicles, together with appropriate images and technical data on the products. Newly listed in the catalogue are 39 spark plugs, 17 glow plugs and two glow time controllers. Even faster access to common types is now provided for the first time by grouping products on the basis of the manufacturers who use them in a listing that follows the individual product sections.
About 350 sensor solutions for cars/commercial vehicles, lorries, buses, tractors, motorcycles, auxiliary heaters and stationary engines are now available from BERU's extensive aftermarket programme. The completely revised and updated BERU sensor catalogue shows them at a glance. New listings in the catalogue include 86 oxygen sensors, 27 temperature sensors, 18 oil pressure switches, four brake light switches, four speed sensors as well as two TSS wheel electronic units.
