BERU AG presents its figures for the first half of 2008 Ludwigsburg, August 14, 2008 — The BERU Group, Ludwigsburg, posted revenue of EUR 230.4 million in the first half of 2008, representing slight growth compared with the first half of 2007 (EUR 224.2 million). The main sources of revenue were the Aftermarket segment and the Electronics and Sensors division. Profit from ordinary activities (EBIT) was reduced by one-time special items and amounted to EUR 15.8 million (EUR 24.4 million). Excluding the special items, adjusted EBIT amounted to EUR 23.1 million, equivalent to an adjusted margin of 10.0%. BERU achieved a profit for the period of EUR 12.3 million (EUR 18.5 million). 6 months' report 2007BERU achieves slight revenue growth in H1 Ludwigsburg, August 14, 2007 — BERU Aktiengesellschaft, Ludwigsburg, increased its sales revenues in the first half of 2007 by 0.5% to EUR 224.2 million, despite unfavorable market conditions (H1 2006: EUR 223.0 million). This development was assisted by the strong growth of the Electronics and Sensor Technology and Ignition Technology divisions. BERU’s operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 24.4 million for the period represents an operating margin of 10.9%. In the first half of 2006, EBIT amounted to EUR 30.9 million and the EBIT margin was 13.9%. 6 months' report 2006BERU with double-digit growth in revenues and EBIT in first half of 2006 Ludwigsburg, August 14, 2006 — BERU AG increased its total sales revenues in the first half of the 2006 financial year (January 1 – June 30) by 10.4% to EUR 223.0 million (January 1 – June 30, 2005: EUR 202.0 million) based on preliminary figures. During the same period, operating profit (EBIT) increased by 23.2% to EUR 30.9 million (EUR 25.1 million). The Company, which is listed since the end of February 2006 in the General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, generated a group net profit of EUR 20.6 million (EUR 8.6 million). 6 months' report 2005Continued growth for BERU in latest 6-month period Ludwigsburg, November 17, 2005 — In the first six months of its short financial year (April 1 - September 30 2005), BERU Aktiengesellschaft, Ludwigsburg, increased its total sales revenues by 9.6% to EUR 197.0 million (April 1 - September 30, 2004: EUR 179.8 million). At the same time, operating profit (EBIT) increased by 26.1% to EUR 28.0 million (EUR 22.2 million). Net income for the period increased by 30.5% to EUR 18.4 million (EUR 14.1 million).
